About a few of our current dogs
Jewel -Champion Royal Jewel of HeartsLuv, OFA, ROM
Jewel is the Queen of our home. She rules our hearts, home, property and all living things contained within. She is to us, the picture of what a female Bullmastiff should be. Structurally and mentally. She is loving, yet not pushy. She welcomes in all of our guests as we do. She guards our property and does not tolerate silly behavior from other animals. She is my personal guardian angel. I was once plagued by seizures, which are now under control, and my dear Jewel would protect me with her body from causing myself harm. She still today, has a close bond with me and is always in constant watch to make sure that all is well with me. She has a wonderful playful spirit that has passed on to her puppies and a loving gentle nature with humans. Jewel received TOP Producing Dam and Register of Merit. We are very proud of all that we have accomplished with Jewel.
Although not our first Bullmastiff, Astro was the first Bullmastiff that I ever took into the AKC Conformation Show Ring. It was in Greenbay, Wisconsin. My hands were shaking so bad that the lead was shaking as well. Astro stood steady and moved like a dream. He has always done exactly what I have asked of him without question or hesitation. He took Best of Breed that day and sealed my fate to continue to show and enjoy conformation events to this day, win or not. In May of 2010 Astro turned 9 years old and at 146 lbs he still believes that he is a puppy and a lap dog. At 9 years of age he sired his first litter, 10 puppies. He is a protector, powerful, and a force to be respected. He no longer goes into the show ring, although he loves to travel in the RV when allowed. Mostly his favorite thing now is to chase the chickens along the fence line and play with his favorite two girls, Jewel and Danna.
Danna - Champion HeartsLuv Better Dan Na Hummer, OFA
And faster too! This is our most playful Bullmastiff. She makes us laugh everyday as her endless desire to retrieve anything that we are willing to throw. She runs, slides, jumps and sometimes crashes into things as she enjoys playtime. Her soft, gentle nature can be amazing. She loves children, every dog she has ever met, and the cat when it is still. She achieved her Championship title from the Bred By Exhibitors Class as she is one of Jewel's puppies that we kept. Her mother's traits are there in a softer, more easy going nature. Our home will never be quiet and there will always be mischief about as long as Danna's engines are running.
Memo - HeartsLuv MakN Memories Stealsaheart
Memo is a big, handsome, brindle male. He is out of my lovely girl Danna and his sire is my favorite brindle boy Remy, who is owned by Howard Gussis and Lesley Brown. Always wanting a brindle boy, Memo was just the right one to make all our dreams come true. He just keeps getting better as he matures and wins a bigger hold on our hearts as well.
It took a long time to find the perfect name for this vocal brindle girl who fills our home with sound and silliness. She lights up our lives with sound and she loves to play with her siblings and our rescue dog Glenda who enjoys singing right along with Echo.
Rosa -HeartsLuv Rev It Up Testarrosa by Stealsaheart
Rosa looks so much like her mother, Danna, that at times it is hard to tell them apart. Rosa is not near as rambunctious as her mother, though. More relaxed and happy to just lay on the couch instead of racing around the yard, Rosa is a very easy girl to have around. Sometimes she can get overlooked since she just never seems to cause any problems or even make a sound. She loves to snuggle and get lots of kisses. This is the best dog to watch a movie with.
